Battery-powered tools, laptops, power banks and e-scooters are part of everyday life, at work and at home. Fire preparedness needs to reflect that reality.

The new portable format responds to a practical need we hear from the market: fire safety equipment that can move between locations, rather than being tied to a fixed installation.

Your tools go with you. So should your fire safety.

For contractors and mobile service teams, the URBAN Fire Blanket Portable can be kept in a service vehicle, taken onto a worksite or stored in a workshop. It is designed for small lithium-ion battery fire incidents involving devices such as power tools, laptops and power banks.

Fire safety. On patrol.

For police and response teams, URBAN Fire Blanket Portable can be carried alongside other equipment in a patrol or emergency vehicle. Its role is early isolation of small device fires, as part of the team’s risk assessment, training and response procedures.

One fire blanket. Two formats.

The new portable version contains the same fire blanket as URBAN Fire Blanket Wall-Mounted. Choose a wall-mounted container for a fixed location, or a carry bag for vehicles, homes and mobile use.

Important safety information

URBAN Fire Blanket is intended for small, localized incidents at an early stage, not large or fully developed battery fires. It does not neutralize gases released by a battery. Always follow the product instructions, never put yourself at risk, and never delay evacuation or contacting emergency services.
