The most efficient way to isolate and extinguish car fires, even in electric vehicles.

The Bridgehill Car Fire Blanket enables you to contain the flames, smoke and toxic fumes in a car fire in seconds. It’s the only solution that can effectively handle fires in electric vehicles.

Where to use

Parking lots

In parking garages and other places with a high concentration of cars, there’s always a risk of car fire and spread of fire. The Bridgehill Car Fire Blanket should be easily accessible on every parking level.

On a car ferry, it’s crucial to isolate fire and smoke quickly to prevent the fire from spreading and avoid panic among passengers. A Bridgehill Car Fire Blanket should be available on every car deck.

Gas stations and charging stations

A Bridgehill Car Fire Blanket should be easily accessible at both gas stations and electric car charging stations. At a gas station, it can prevent the fire from spreading to the gasoline. At charging stations, it’s the only solution that can quickly and safely isolate the fire in lithium-powered vehicles.

Car repair shops

Cars with errors or cars that have recently been involved in an accident have a greater chance of self-igniting. A Bridgehill Car Fire Blanket should be easily available at any car repair shop, paint shop or workshop.

Towing services

Rescue and repair vehicles regularly transport broken or damaged cars, including cars that have been involved in an accident or fire. It’s therefore important to have a Bridgehill Car Fire Blanket easily accessible inside the rescue car.

Road tunnels

In road tunnels, it’s crucial to isolate smoke and toxic gases from car fires quickly, as they pose a danger to people inside the tunnel. Bridgehill Car Fire Blankets should be available at regular intervals throughout the tunnel.

Many cars are parked outside of airport terminals. Inside the terminal building, luggage cars, forklifts and other vehicles can be at risk of fire. Airports should have a number of Bridgehill Car Fire Blankets near entrances and throughout the building.

Why it works better than powder, water or foam

There are thousands of car fires around the world every single day. Most of them are extinguished using foam or water. But these methods throw toxic fumes into the air and drain hazardous substances in the groundwater. Bridgehill Car Fire Blankets don’t. They isolate smoke immediately without spreading toxic fumes or substances – making them safer for people and the environment.

  • Fast – isolates fire in seconds
  • Effective – extinguishes fire in minutes
  • Simple – can be used by anyone
  • Eco-friendly – no toxic fumes or liquids
  • Universal – even works on electric cars

How it works

Simply drag the Bridgehill Car Fire Blanket over the burning vehicle to immediately isolate the flames and fumes. In electric vehicles, the lithium batteries will continue to burn even without oxygen. We recommend to leave the fire blanket on when transporting electric vehicles on a tow truck. Tie it properly with a rope or a load strap at tire level.

Step 1 – Get ready

Place the fire blanket on the ground in front of- or behind the vehicle and roll it out.

Step 2 – Cover the vehicle

Two people should grab each their handle and safely pull the fire blanket over the car in one continuous movement.

Step 3 – Leave the fire blanket on

Make sure the fire blanket is tight all the way to the ground. Wait for firefighters to assess the situation further.

To uncover the car - drag the fire blanket away from the vehicle, not towards the car.

For fire in electric vehicles - we recommend to leave the fire blanket on until the vehicle has been transported to a safe place.
