Bridgehill was co-organizer of Park Lodge International Fire Investigation course in Oslo, Norway.
The electric vehicle, a Hyundai Kona, with a 64 kWh battery was 87% state of charge when it hit thermal runaway.
Before the Bridgehill Standard car fire blanket was deployed, the EV had a peak temperature of over 1100 Celsius/ 2000 Fahrenheit. It took around 30 seconds from when the car fire blanket was deployed until the temperature had dropped down to below 400 Celsius/ 750 Fahrenheit.
